Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Lis De La Valle website (the "Site") or our in-store services, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.

Lis De La Valle is a sole proprietorship operating at 71 Commerce Street, Suite 1367, Pulaski, Virginia. In these Terms, "we," "our," and "us" refer to Lis De La Valle.

Use of the Website

You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes related to browsing our offerings, booking appointments, and contacting us. You agree not to:

• Use the Site in a way that violates any law or regulation.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or our systems.
• Use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or copy content from the Site without our permission.
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.

Appointments

• Booking. Appointments may be requested online, by phone, or in person. Confirmation is provided by the boutique.
• Cancellations. We appreciate at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or reschedules so we can offer the slot to another customer.
• Late arrivals. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your session may need to be shortened or rescheduled.
• No-shows. Repeated no-shows may result in a small deposit being required for future bookings.
• Last-minute & emergency fittings. We do our best to accommodate urgent requests — call us directly.

Orders & Special Orders

• Special orders (bridal gowns, custom prom, made-to-measure menswear) require a non-refundable deposit at the time of order.
• Delivery timelines are estimates provided by the designer or manufacturer; we cannot guarantee exact arrival dates.
• Final balances are due upon arrival of the order. Items not picked up within 60 days may be subject to a storage fee.
• Pricing is in U.S. dollars and excludes applicable sales tax and alterations.
• Errors. We reserve the right to correct pricing or availability errors before a transaction is finalized.

Tuxedo Rentals

Tuxedo and men's formal rentals are processed through our partnership with Jim's Formal Wear. The rental contract is between you and Jim's Formal Wear, with us serving as the authorized retailer providing measurements, fitting, and pickup.

• Rentals must be returned by the date specified on your contract; late returns incur fees.
• Damaged or missing items will be charged at the cost listed on your rental agreement.
• We recommend ordering at least 3 weeks in advance — rush orders may carry additional fees.

Alterations

• Alterations are quoted at the time of fitting and are billed separately from the garment.
• Alteration payments are due at pickup unless otherwise arranged.
• Alterations on items not purchased from us are accepted at our discretion.
• We are not responsible for fit changes caused by significant weight loss or gain after the final fitting.

Consignment

We accept gently used formal wear for consignment on a per-piece basis, subject to our quality and seasonality review.

• Split: Standard split is shared between you and the boutique, agreed in writing at intake.
• Term: Items remain on the floor for a defined consignment period; price reductions may occur per the schedule on your intake form.
• Unsold items must be picked up within 14 days of the term ending or will be considered donated.
• Payouts are issued by check or store credit at the end of the consignment period for items that sold.
• We are not responsible for normal wear, fading from display lighting, or unforeseen damage during the consignment period — though we treat every piece with care.

Returns & Exchanges

Because bridal and formal wear is highly personal — and many items are special-ordered to your measurements — our return policy reflects industry norms:

• Special orders (bridal gowns, made-to-measure, altered items): final sale.
• In-stock accessories (jewelry, veils, undergarments): not returnable for hygiene reasons.
• Off-the-rack stock dresses that have not been altered may be exchanged within 7 days, with tags attached and accompanied by the original receipt. Store credit only.
• Tuxedo rentals follow the Jim's Formal Wear contract terms.
• Defective merchandise will always be made right — contact us as soon as you notice the issue.

Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of Lis De La Valle or its content suppliers and is protected by U.S. and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission, except for personal, non-commercial viewing.

Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Site and our services are provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding uninterrupted access to the Site, accuracy of every detail in product descriptions, or outcomes from third-party services (such as shipping carriers).

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lis De La Valle is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Site or any service. Our total liability for any claim related to a purchase or rental is limited to the amount you paid for that specific item or service.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Pulaski County, Virginia.
